Catching big GTs is what we do, we love them all, big ones, little ones and everything in between. It's what we've been doing for longer than any other charter operation, and we've learned a few things along the way. Everything we've learned over 25+ years of GT fishing has gone into making a range of lures that not only stands up to the toughest fish, but helps you get more bites when things are tough.
There's nothing like watching a big GT charge down a lure on the surface, it's one of the true delights of the fishing world, and so addictive it should be illegal. You can catch GTs on pretty much everything that you'll find on this site, but below are a few of our all time favourite, must have GT casting lures that will serve you well on a trip anywhere in the world catching GTs.
As for colour, it's personal choice, but Black poppers are a favourite, as are stickbaits and poppers with purple, fusilier or coral trout colours. Again, it is personal choice here, and choose something that feels right for the conditions.
